07/20/2022 Texas Parks and Wildlife Game Warden Attempt Results in a Pursuit, Where Four Undocumented Individuals were Taken Into Custody
On 07/20/22 at around 12:50 P.M., Texas Parks and Wildlife Game Warden attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a vehicle driving recklessly near the High School track in Rocksprings. The vehicle failed to stop and continued north on HWY 377 where he crashed through several fences as the driver turned onto RM 2630 north of town. The pursuit ended when the vehicle wrecked out in a pasture several miles from the intersection. Four IA's were immediately taken into custody as Law Enforcement continued to search the area the driver and possibly 1 other IA have not been located. The driver was last seen wearing a red shirt and was traveling north west through the brush. The Edwards County Sheriff's Office would like to remind everyone to remain vigilant and report any suspicious persons to 830-683-4104.
