08/02/2022 Driver Arrested for Smuggling and Evading Arrest After Wrecking Out at HWY 41 and IH-10
On 08/2/22 at around 6:30 P.M., an Edwards County Sheriff's Deputy attempted a vehicle stop on a vehicle driving recklessly through town near the track. The driver refused to stop and the Deputy pursued the vehicle north on HWY 377 where they then continued east on HWY 41. The pursuit ended when the vehicle wrecked out at HWY 41 and IH-10. The driver was arrested for Smuggling and Evading Arrest and was transported to the Edwards County Detention Center. The 2 IA's were turned over to U.S. Border Patrol for processing.
