10/25/2022 During a Short Pursuit through Town, the Vehicle Struck a Fence and Continued on. Driver Bailed Out Attempted to Flee the Scene
A little after 4 A.M., an Edwards County Sheriff's Deputy attempted to conduct a traffic stop on HWY 377 south of Rocksprings. The driver of the vehicle refused to stop which resulted in a short pursuit through town. During the pursuit the vehicle struck a fence at Broadway and Kinney. The vehicle continued on where the driver bailed out in an open field on South Wells St. When the driver was apprehended it was discovered that he fled because he had warrants from another county. The driver was arrested for the warrants and Evading Arrest.
