06/11/2022 Texas Parks and Wildlife Game Warden and a Texas DPS Trooper Apprehend Three Smuggling Loads
On 06/11/22 in just two hours, starting at around 10 A.M., a Texas Parks and Wildlife Game Warden and a Texas DPS Trooper apprehended three smuggling loads in Rocksprings. The 1st smuggling case was apprehended on HWY 55 just North of Rocksprings. In this case the U.S. Citizen driver was charged with Smuggling and Possession of a Firearm. The 2nd and 3rd smuggling cases were apprehended on HWY 377 just North of Rocksprings. In these cases one U.S. Citizen driver was charged with Smuggling and Possession of a Controlled Substance and the other with Smuggling and Evading Arrest. A total of 14 IA's were turned over to U.S. Border Patrol for processing.
